The Winter gloom lifted today and the sun came out so had a quick wander around the pond to see what was about. The levels in the pond are incredibly high after all the rain so there wasn’t much about. A lone Little Grebe proved illusive and the Teal and Mallard took flight as soon as I came out. The Long Tailed tits however were out in force and followed me around the pond edge flitting in and out of the Hawthorns and Berries
