Today was wet and sunny in equal measure but it did allow for a some wanderings locally and it was mainly as Tufted Duck day ! It was good to see the Tufties back on the local pond with 3 pairs in total. The usual supects were also about, buzzards overhead, cormorants fishing, GS Woodpeckers calling and even the Pied Wagtails in good voice looking for a partner. Fingers crossed for some good weather over the Easter break and a chance to go looking for some more of the wildlife coming out of the woodwork now the days are longer.
