Our ferry today was rearranged from the early to a later one, which meant I had time this morning to walk around Kingscross one more time. I headed back to the point where the Otter was last night and to my surprise there he was again, it was 06.30 so no-one else was about, and I watched him hunt in the gloom before the sun came up. He headed onto the rocks for a while, sliding in the sea weed before going again into the sea to hunt. I watched him for half an hour before a yacht coming from the bay under engine power scared him away.
A great way to finish a superb holiday. We will be back !
