Today while the rest of the country was enjoying a heat wave here in West Cumbria it was grey and sometimes a little damp , but regardless I managed a quick trip to look at the Owls. All three were out, two flying and one sat in a vent on the gable end of the barn, they were a log way off but still great to watch.
Back at home, the Humming Bird Hawk Moth was back in our garden, we saw one last year but this was the first time we spotted once this year, it was great to spend a short while watching it, but boy is it fast !
