9 August 2024 : A quick walk on a very windy evening
A dry but very windy evening so I had a wander to check on the Barn Owl chicks, there were still three chicks in and around the nest, but none of them were flying yet, but they cant be far off now. Both adult birds were absent tonight, or roosting elsewhere as they werent flying tonight.
Before I left I just went to look at the Peregrines and just managed a quick glipmse of the adult bird as it flashed past, i didnt hang around any longer, the top of a quarry cliff in high winds is probably not the best place to hang about !
