Tonight the sun was out, but I only had half an hour of light left so I took a hurried walk to see if the Owls were about. I spotted one flying in a Willow plantation, and took a chance it might be hunting in in a firebreak area, where the trees were thinner.
It was a chance but luck was with me, and I managed to get a quick bursts of shots as it flew towards me, and over my head, as soon as it happened it was gone, and the sun went in completely. A very quick spot but a great experiecne
