The weather was a bit up and down for the first week in August and so sadly I didn’t manage to get out very much. The pond at home was very quiet, with just the Mallards and two young left, with the odd Moorhen visiting, and of course the Swallows and House Martins feeding at night.
Up with the Owls , there seems to be one young that has semi fledged ! by that I mean it sits under the nest waiting to be fed, and the adult birds seem to oblige, all be it not as much as before when it was in the nest. Hopefully the weather with improve and Ill be able to get out and watch them a bit more closely.
