Another sunny day and a wander along the cycle track listening to Chiffchaffs and Goldcrests calling from the hedgerow, I managed to spot the Chiffchaffs as they like to sit up high, but try as I might I only got fleeting glimpses of the Goldcrests hiding deep in the undergrowth.
At dusk I headed back to the Barn Owls and right away he came out on his normal route, but changed half way through and it was 40 mins before I found where he had gone to, by then the light wasn’t great but it was wonderful to spend some time just watching him hunt.
