Well the last week has been wet and gloomy while the rest of the UK has been in sun, but today it cleared up and so an early morning walk was much needed. At the quarry the Barn Owl was there but roosting and showing no signs of getting up ! and the Peregrine was sitting a long way away just watching.
At the reserve, there was no signs of the Kingfishers but the Willow Warblers, Blue Tits, Blackcaps, Moorhens and Mallards were all out in force.
