A very hot couple of days but managed to get a couple of short walks in the early morning and late evening. The first hot day on the 20th there were only a few small birds about late in the day but it started well with a Barn Owl in last years nesting site and today the day started with Hares and Pied Wagtails, and finished with Barn Owls.
Its great news that the Barn Owls appear to be back at the nesting site, I didn’t see any sign of young, but the fact that it was there both days does hint at the possibility of a nest, only time will tell.
