The weather has been grey and damp, but thats not stopped the Christmas wildlife putting on a show, its just made getting good shots of the difficult !
I did however manage to get a few , the local lake was busy with Mute Swans fighting amongst themselves, surrounding by Little Grebes and Black Headed Gulls. Back at home and the dog Otter is back on the pond, he’s been here for a few days but today was the first time I managed to get out and capture him on film. He was a little wary but once he accepted me as being not a threat, he carried on fishing. I watched him fishing for a good hour, catching Tench every 10 mins, but he also spent a lot of time hiding in the branches of a fallen Hawthorn Tree.
Fingers crossed he will hang around a little while longer and maybe even the sun will come out!
