Today we left the Isle of Bute and headed to Arran via the mainland and Ardrossen. Once we landed we settled into our new cottage for the week, and nipped out for a quick walk along the headland to see what was about. I was only out for an hour but it was great to be back in the sunset and spot a few nice things !
There was a camera shy Seal around the headland, diving Gannets, distant Guillimots diving, Cormorant, Red-Breasted Merganser, Oyster Catchers, Sandpiper and of course Highland Coo’s.
Fingers crossed this good weather continues and we will get to see some more of the wildlife this great island has to offer
