Tonight the grey weather disappeared for a short while and so I took a trip up to see how the Barn Owls were doing. The sun was in and out and the barn was either grey or red, and just when I was thinking it was a no show the female Owl appeared at the window, it stayed for a few mins then went back in, the it came back and sat a little long and then flew back in, finally it reappeared and then flew off to hunt just as the sun set.
I didn’t see the male Owl tonight but it was superb to get a short while of good weather and see the female looking so well
