The weather was set to change later today, so we decided to have a quick wander localy with the dog, followed by a walk around Eskdale.
Around Parkside, there wasn’t much about and try as I might I couldn’f find much that was taking advantage of an extra hour of daylight. The garden was busier though, with a flock of Starlings trying there best to empty my bird feeders and falling out in the process. The Grey Heron was on the pond, and the Linnets were flitting about the hedgerows.
In Eskdale the Redwings were out in force in the tree tops along the river, and a Dipper was happily feeding in the water. The leaves were on the change in the whole valley and when the sun shone it was the perfect Autumn day, we even managed to get back to the car before the rain set in.
