Tonight the rain stopped and although it was a bit grey and dark, I took Skye ( our Dog ) for a walk along the coast to see if the Barn Owls were about. I managed to find one within 20 mins and watched it hunting among the Willows for a short while before disappearing with a mouse for supper.
It was also a Deer night ! while I was watching the Owl I heard something running, and just had time to spot a couple of Roe Deer running into the woods, I must have disturbed them. Sadly I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo of them, but it was still great to watch.
