The sun came out tonight so I made another trip up to see if the Barn Owls were out , it’s been a good three weeks since I saw any activity up here, and I was beginning to think they had all gone, but first one, then two young flew out of the barn and perched on the posts.
The two young flew off , one into the bushes and one back into the barn, while the adult flew around for a short while. They never got very close, but it was great to see them alive and healthy, there was even a lone Hare hiding in the grass.
