31 July 2024 : Peregrine Falcon with one of its young tonight
31 July 2024 : Another nice sunny day so I headed to see if any more of the Barn Owls had left the nest
The nest still had two chicks in it with the adult sitting to one side, and no sign of the other chick that left the nest last night. With it looking like the Barn Owls were set to stay roosting for the night, i took a walk further along the cliff tops to see if the Peregrine Falcons were about.
Luckily I just caught the adult and fledged chick taking off, so I quickly managed a few shots before the pair disappeared in the distance. A good day all round, I will try and check back on the Owls in the next day or so, weather permiting.
