Just a quick walk around the fields in the morning sun to see what was about, the Curlews were in the fields and the Pied Wagtails were everywhere, the Juviniles were by the pond, and the parents were mating! so maybe another brood on the way.
Over the pond the Sand Martins were feeding and on the telegraph pole a Juvenile GS Woodpecker was waiting to be fed, its mother briefly flew by quickly followed by the youngster. Not a bad way to start the day !
