May 02 : Wst Cumbria near Frizington
A cloudy end to a nice bright but windy day, I managed to get an hour in half decent light on the moor. Roe Deer were grazing, a Cuckoo flew past, Stonechats and Lapwings were flitting about.
An odd sight was a pair of Shelduck in a freshly ploughed field, I can assume settling for the evening although there was no water anywhere near.
