A cold but sunny evening in West Cumbria and a so we took a quick wander to a local river , but a new spot for us. Along the river we spotted Cormorants, Dippers, and Mallards. When we stopped by a bridge however the fun started, there was a pair of Goldcrests in the trees chasing each other, along the river bank a lone Female Kingfisher was fishing, and a flock of Long tailed tits were flitting about the Pussy Willows along with the Willow Warblers.
It was late in the day when we arrived and so didn’t have very long, however I will defiantly be back to see if I can get a little closer and see what else we can see.,
