I’ve only managed a few brief trips out over the past few days, but there have been some highlights. Down near Ravenglass I was treated to 4 or 5 Little Egrets flying overhead in the sun, along with Grey Heron, Cormorants, Buzzards and Curlews. Back at Parkside, we have had the first Teal of the year appear on the pond alongside a pair of Mute Swans and 20 or so Mallards.
Not the busiest of days out and about but still good to see a nice range of wildlife
