Just a quick walk tonight to see if I could find the lone Hare I spotted the other night. At first the only thing moving was a Kestrel quartering over the fields hovering looking for prey. While I was distracted I almost a pair of Hares running over the field and only spotted them once they were through the wire fence, and away !!
These two were new ones, and neither of them were the one I saw a few days ago, so that three Hares back in my normal spot, its a way off the six there were last year but its a start. I’ll keep watching and counting as the weather allows.
