All fired up with enthusiasm having seen a pair of Hares last night , I went back tonight to see if I could find them again. Sadly the pair were not to be found, but I did happen upon the lone Hare from two nights ago which was good to see. Its clear its a separate Hare from its markings, so I will keep an eye out and my fingers crossed to find the others again.
Elsewhere on the walk, the Swallows and Martins were flying ( no sign of Swifts as of yet ), the Oyster Catchers were shouting and a Pied Wagtail was bobbing about. Another first for this location was a pair of Curlews feeding in the grass, great to see and I will defiantly keep an eye out to see of they are breeding.
