Today was just a quick walk out to see if the Hares were about to, and this evening there was just one, it is one of the pair as its got a distinctive hole in its ear. I waited until it got dark but the other one didn’t show. Last time I saw them they appeared to be fighting so I wondered if one was the mother and the other its young , which it had decided was old enough to fend for itself ?
I will keep checking on them to see if my theory is correct !
